If Only I Could Be A CatA Poem by Janne Varvára Seem
What if I could be a cat;
Lie quietly upon the mat And listen in on every chat, Destroy grandfather's favorite hat With no more scolding than a pat, And I'll just work on getting fat, Occasionally chase a rat, You know, I could get used to that; I'll sit here where I've always sat And no one tells me where it's at, If only I could be a cat. © 2013 Janne Varvára Seem |
