The Snore

This poem is just a playful argument between my husband and i concerning who snores the most.

The Snore

Ohoo My Gosh! Oh Mine!

 I swear my hobby snores harder than me!

It begins with a soft sssssssssssss

Then, increases with a hard GRRRRRRRR

Breaking into the night air like a dog and cat fight!

 

 

 

 

I swear! I swear, my hobby snores harder than me!

Sometimes it sounds like an uneven urrrr fiercelessly cracking its way in the quiet of the night, irritating me.

I swear, I know, you know it is true! Because I know you feel the same way too!

I snore I know, because it is true, my hobby takes time recording me too.

I know, I sincerely know, that I snore, but I beg to differ that my snore is not as hard as his snore.

Then, comes day break, and he sits awake,

Asking me how well did I sleep?

 Of course, I scream hell no! Just Kidding, I just can’t say that.

I just smiled and say, it was a gooood but very long night.
