The 44th President of the United States

Letter to the President

They asked, who is He?

A skinny boy from Chicago

A son, born to an African father, and a Caucasian mother.

Whose nationality was questioned.

Few say, he is a foreign born!

Some believed he is from Africa

Others believed, he is from the Southside of Chicago.

They say, that is a fact!

A Community Organizer.

Everyone says, a Community Organizer?

It was Questioned.

It was Mocked.

But it stood the Test of Time.

Be Wise, my Countrymen, says the town crier.

Don’t be fooled, perpetuated the whistle blowers.

Stand up right, Stand up tight.

Seek from the Heart the norms and values for which our country stands.

Vote Right, Vote with Insight!

Vote with all your might and height!

Yes! Indeed, America voted with insight!

Barack Hussein Obama

The first Black president was elected!

Right On! Brother.

They Say, WHAAAT!

CONSPIRACY.  Conspiracy? Conspiracy!

YES. They say, this very Day,

He must be stopped

Cried the land of the Republic.

Hell No! shout the Democrats.

Yes, we can! The people rejoice!

White bodies swinging, Brown mouths moving,

Black heads spinning, fingers snapping, and feet tapping.

They say, Change has come

A change, that shook the very core, and fabric of the New World

They Say,

Very spitefully say, “WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!”

Some try to understand the change

Others try to embrace it

Few try to catch up with it,

While the remainder, just won't accept it!

They Say,

Fear, Fear, Fear.

  Fear of What?

Xenophobia? Homophobia? Political Correctness? Islamic phobia.

Right On! Right On!

BLACK LIVES MATTERS? GUN CONTROL?

PROTECT OUR BORDER? OUR VETRIANS Too?

AND SHOW THE WORLD HOW GREAT,

 MILITARY GREAT OUR COUNTRY IS?

They say, people are angry.

Angry of what?

CHANGE?

So, what is change? Is it atomic?

Barack Hussein Obama?

Some say, you are a divider

 You just don’t belong.

Others say, you are a

So, history will write and rewrite you,

Whatever way history chooses to remember you,

One thing is constant.

You are an African, and the First Black, and 44th President of the United States.

You are, and will always be one of the Great Thinkers of contemporary times.

You brought change. Change is complicated. Change is awakening, it is incomprehensible.

But You challenge change, and now, change is come to stay
