Motive

Motive

A Poem by justjenn_2u

Do you think?
Do you feel?
Do you ever steal?

Do you hide?
Do you die?
Do you feel me by your side?

Can I run?
Can I pretend?
Can I ever be your friend?

Are you ready to explore?
Are you dying or praying inside?
Are you able to crash and collide?

Can we?
Will we?
Tell me!
Make me!

Look at my imperfections.
I am your mood, your one reflection.

Run with me!
Don’t ever look back!
Come on, put my soul under attack!

A walk on the side of the inner conciousness. Or at least that's what I saw.
Almost as if the shadow was talking to the body and speaking the voice of the devil and the angel all at once.
At the same time this voice implied fear also was running through the thoughts that came out in this.
Over all it had alot of things once could ponder about.

An enjoyable read!

This reminds me of my wife who I miss. She was so wonderful she passed away in December, 2007. We had thousands of great times together. She had Lupus, f.m. and was bi-polar. Thanks for the write.

wow, it read really quickly. Give it a feel of emotions running at you. Very powerful way to present your thoughts. The rhyme adds to snappy feel and supports the intention well. The title really ties things together nicely.

The flow was terrific. I love this because it can maybe be put into lyrical form and turned into a song...
Great write my friend.

I really like this... it reminds me of "Reflection". All the questions that this poem poses makes you think about the entire piece in great detail. This is a grade "a" piece and a job well done!

The adrenalin that filled this piece made it flow pretty well at a speedy rate. The questions that fill the poem make you feel watched, as if someone is guessing at your own motives. I like it, it's a good poem, fun to read out loud too.
