Motive

Motive

A Poem by justjenn_2u

Do you think?
Do you feel?
Do you ever steal?

Do you hide?
Do you die?
Do you feel me by your side?

Can I run?
Can I pretend?
Can I ever be your friend?

Are you ready to explore?
Are you dying or praying inside?
Are you able to crash and collide?

Can we?
Will we?
Tell me!
Make me!

Look at my imperfections.
I am your mood, your one reflection.

Run with me!
Don’t ever look back!
Come on, put my soul under attack!

A walk on the side of the inner conciousness. Or at least that's what I saw.
Almost as if the shadow was talking to the body and speaking the voice of the devil and the angel all at once.
At the same time this voice implied fear also was running through the thoughts that came out in this.
Over all it had alot of things once could ponder about.

An enjoyable read!

Wow! what an invitation, this can be interpreted in many ways, I like the urgency in your voice and the words moved just as fast, a great write Jen.

this is very different in the sense of the thought. i took it as someone fighting with them selves. finally being able to become one within one self rather than having another humanbeing make you fell whole. i am your mood was a line that blew me away, i read that and it made the poem great.

Great questions thant makes a person think... and questions all lovers and indeed even "just firneds" must ask themselve and each other for true deliverenve and endurance...One person does not make an kind of relationship~

We cannot always know what someone is looking for from us - we can guess, we can imagine, we can hope.... but motive is sometimes not right up front and there to be seen.... beware.... good write. love the bullet type format..... jabs and quick strokes of effective words....

This write almost literally "jumps' out at you, the format is pefect for your wording and the flow is amazing, fast, rapid, immediate...and of course your rhyme works wonders making it an overall great read. I suddenly feel as if I am in a major hurry for some reason. I really liked the line "look at my imperfections. I am your mood, your one reflection." Very powerful, intense poem. great job. ;)

the endlessness of self doubtfulness...for you, is a journey u have to go through, to discover yourself, your truth!
yet i dont get who is it "exactly" u'r talking to here!
the audience? the loved once?
or rather would i say your conscience? ur Jenny in conflict?
u got me thinking!

be well
know thyself!

What a fantastic poem! What a briliiant thought! It is very much true to find these questions as the universal ones that everyone has in mind, but the difference is you write, and there you are with your perfect creative style.

Good work. I liked it very much.

Thank you.

Raja.

So many facets to a reflection! It all depends on where you're going and where you've been! Well said! eyepoetress
