If you step back from the screan and squint your eyes, it kinda looks like a beehive! And you know that in there is honey. One of the many foods of the Gods! Plus it is sweet! Thus i would have to say that even though you feel as if your heart is empty, I would disagree. I think there is still a great Sweetness about you, I have seen that in your reviews, and The gods must surely value your talent! :)
Great Poem!
Just my weird View huh? he he :)
This poem speaks of true hurt, the kind that rips a heart in two. I like the way the sentences grow longer, as if the pain grow stronger...very nice Jen!!
Yes, it's a waste because if you feel this way, he's beyond caring, but it matters that you release the negative feelings inside you and isn't poetry an excellent avenue for doing that?! I love the form, imagery and tone of this poem. Barbara
I love the way that you write . Maybe because it is so much like how I have felt and sometimes still do . It''s nice to know that I am not such a lonely heart after all. There are people who love deeply as do I . Thank you.
I agree with all the other reviews, so you know I like this. One thing I love about poetry, or any art in fact, is that it can transform pain into something beautiful. NH
poetry doesn't always have to be about pain - yet it does seem to bring out the poetic nature in our souls. heartbreak is an ultimate part of life - they do have the ability to heal with time - and open up again for the right person. nicely written piece.
I write from my heart. I follow my instinct. I live impulsively. I never feel like my feet are firmly grounded as I am a free spirit. I am a very intuitive person, sometimes to the point it hurts .. more..
