The Rescue

Elana was not sure what would happen once they got home. She sat there to scared to move. " Put the horses up then come inside." Elana saw him go inside. " Oh where were you my dark knight?" she put the horses up and walked inside she saw her father talking to someone. Just as she shut the door someone grabbed her from behind and held her in place. " Papa what is going on? Let me go, let me go" Henry turned around he had something in his hand. " There you are elana. Well if you wanna act like a w***e you will be branded as one." Elana tried to get away. "Please papa stop please no papa." Elana screamed as the hot iron touched her arm. " She is now yours Rodrick do as you want with her." Henry said, Elana laid there in pain crying well my dear it looks like you belong to me now." before she could even move he hit her so hard she passed out. Last thing she heard was her father tell the man to train her well. Why would her father do this to her

Conner had been riding his horse all night to get to elana. " protect my flower please keep her safe lord i leave this in your hands. come on midnight faster please." Conner remembered makeing a promise to elana's mother the night he held her hand after her husband Henry beat the hell out of her for picking flowers with elana. Conner was just getting berrys for his mom. When he came across her. " I promise my lady. I will protect her forever." Conner held her hand as she left this world, free from the pain. Conner snaps out of it and turns into the village and see's that scum Rodrick. No one liked him he beat and abused girls. As he gets closer he see's he is carring something. Conner then see's it is elana and loses his mind. Conner stops his horse in front of Rodrick's horse. " What did you do to her and why do you have her?" Conner yelled at Rodrick. " Her father sold her to me. She is mine. She has my brand now." Conner dragged rodrick off the horse." She is not yours. She is a person and i'm takeing her home with me." Rodrick looked at him with anger " NO you are not i payed for her if you want her you can pay me." Conner handed him a bag of money " Get out of my sight before i kill you." Conner walked over to elana and saw the brand fresh on her arm, as he picked her up he put his cloak around her so she would not freeze. Elana opened her eyes just enough for her to see a shadow " Please tell Conner I love him." then she was back out. Conner looked at her. " he knows flower he knows." Conner held her close to him and got on his horse, then headed to his home out in the country. " You will forever bloom in my garden my flower."
