I May Die

I May Die

A Poem by Justin E Spanos
"

Another reflection I wrote in my music literature class today (instead of taking notes).

"
I may die today
"thy nay cry" you say
From time to time
Life walks on by
At a rate we
Simply can't keep
But you can't see
With eyes that much weep
I may die tomorrow
So do not try to borrow
A dollar of another time
For life walks by
Time is not for the weak
So open your meek eyes
You may not find what you seek
Look past the tired lies
You may die today
You may die tomorrow
"If I die" we say
"Let me have another's life to borrow"
