Self-Righteous Infection

Self-Righteous Infection

A Poem by Justin
"

Another look at life from a half-empty perspective

"
What is wrong with the world today?
One question and countless answers.
A rotting world, decay and taint surrounding everyone,
But not enough of us have eyes that can see.
Blinded with false advertising,
Corrupted with false lies covered in flashy lights and bright colors.
Stubborn narcissists go through life, loving the sound of their own voice.
nobody being able to look at the simple truth, 2 simplistically small words.
"You're Wrong"
Why does it have to be so damn hard for us to admit to our mistakes?
We're not the mirror image of perfection, noone is.
I'm probably a hypocrite though, with the person who's perfection in my eyes......
But our faults are obvious,
Couldn't be clearer if they had a huge sign pointing to them.....
