A Poem by Justice

My soul simply cries.

All my truths thrown to the lies.

Emptiness fills my eyes.

The rendering revealed.

My own lies ripped and torn,

Torn so I may see the truth.

My anger climbs from its eternal well,

It spills over mixing into my grief.

It roars out of my body,

It burns like steam, searing my throat.

My soul simply cries.

All my truths thrown to lies.

Emptiness fills my eyes.

Second of pain.

The poison he chose.

The poison he choses.

He turns from who he was,

He takes all the work,

Sweat,

Blood,

And tears.

 Throws them to the wind,

Walks down the dark road.

Betrayed by this constant,

The wool is burnt away,

I see how far I really am.

The great chasm before me,

Sealing me from everyone else.

 My soul simply cries.

All my truths thrown to lies.

Emptiness fills my eyes.

The final slaughter lurking yet,

For two will not leave one.

One more yet to come.
