Fading

Fading

A Poem by Justice

A dark pillar rises,

piercing the dull red sky.

The beginning of the

sun as it sinks, dies.

The red fades away

to grey, grey to black.

All in the darkness

gather for an attack.

The pillar stands out

as absolute darkness.

It moves, first with one

long limb then the other.

Full of divine power, Unstoppable, untamed.

Bending all to its evil will.                                 Unstoppable

Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride.

Foreigners brought to this fresh new place

Previously untouched, now lost to this power.

From its choice.                 All of creation cries out for mercy

But, the power given will not be undone.

Imposed by another will

Pushed to fading away

Everything quakes will fear of its approach.
