Ocean

Ocean

A Poem by Justice

Tawny eyes and a husky voice wash over me.

They pull deep into the ocean of beauty.

Whirling waves wash over me.

It sinks into my skin,

My heart,

My soul.

Your ocean cleans me.

It carries away the dirt,

Lies, hate, pain, lust.

The desire for pain is gone,

All their memories lost in that sea.

The waves wash me until

My soul is as the white caps,

Pure whole and good.

I am immersed in your goodness.

I am powerful,

I am good,

I am valuable.

My free soul flies

Over the boundless ocean.

The crashing waves,

Deep dark blue waters,

Red clouded sky.

To find heaven I fly no farther.

I circle your wild waters,

Blissfully and content.

This is such a beautiful word picture. When I read it, I can see a bird slowly dipping its wings as it flies above a tumultuous sea.

Wow that is really good.. I love the flow... the emotion and especially the part:

Your ocean cleans me.
It carries away the dirt,
Lies, hate, pain, lust.
The desire for pain is gone,
All their memories lost in that sea.

How nice this stanza is.. yes in stupidity in youth we yearn these things.. and while I believe most adults still have these emotions they just learn with experience to contain it more..and yes when we fall in love so many other things do seem to disappear.. well less serious things do anyways.. thank you so much for sharing =)
