beauty

beauty

A Poem by Justice

Your beauty leaves me in awe

I barely believe what I saw

You showed me your heart

Beaten, hurt, broken apart

I see your struggle for goodness

All your goodness you just dismissed

You feel like a failure

But you’re nothing of the sort

You’re stronger and kinder for all your hurt

The worry and internal strife prove your humanity

It separates you from the rabble’s insanity

I wish you could see what you really are

Your prospective of self is distorted

You’re not broken, ugly, or marred

Being worried and unsure

You posses an inner light that lets me see who I really am

If you would stop beating yourself for the past

The future could be brighter for us all
