Undisturbed vessel; unyielding charterA Poem by Prose-fullAn undisturbed vessel; An unyielding charter, Leave me be so I can stare into the waters; Become dazed into a wave, And wash away into the sands. Love is void here; Doesn’t live; doesn’t die, Just lingers as loneliness surfaces about the shore, And crashes the beyond the rocks. I wish for the shells to protect my heart from the stinging pain, Who will save me from this? Where will I find my escape; is there such a thing? A route to no more tears, Something light and warm to fill my cup, And overflow to my thirsty soul. To thirst no more, feel moved, Feel love again and purged from bitterness; Turn away from those doors and find a bit of heaven on the upper -side of the soil. But at this very moment, I am, and please, Let me be- An undisturbed vessel; An unyielding charter. © 2008 Prose-full |
