-this is not misspoken...[show us]

as i sit
and stare
out of my subliminal window,

i see how the troubles in the world
can sometimes
get one down..

 

our soldiers at war
lies that they will be home
but continue to die
you must hurry
and make this come true;do bring them home, will you..

gas prices seem to elevate by the hour
we are still afraid to board a plane
with a simple bottle of shampoo;
there is some shame in that;
who is to blame for that...

this is supposed to be America..
..you know "Land of the Free..
and Home of the Brave.."

 

please point me in the direction...
where exactly is this the bravery
in throwing my shampoo away

i hope for the world...
that we become very aware
that God is bigger than all of this..

 

i don't want to hear
any more politicians
slandering one another's name
that is really not an asset  
to character;you do remember you are
a candidate for the U.S.Presidency
is the camera getting to bright for you to see
i will spell it out:
it
is
unsuitable
for President

hopefuls,
to act

like

kindergardeners

 

if you indeed do believe in "Change"
than show us,
let's see it happen

if you are going to bring the troops home
please, do show us..

i do not want to hear another lie..
trust the fact that:
you will know when you are "under sniper fire"
there will be no room for "misspoken"

you may indeed end up miss-ing something

there will be no time to give autographs
and you will indeed need to "take cover"

keep in mind:

there are troops who
are on a day to day basis
dying because they are
"under sniper fire"

 

and that...
...is not "misspoken"
