it's knowing that "it" will be caught

 

it's not because you cry

it's because you need to cry

it's okay that you're claiming your leave

i knew you'd soon be leaving;

this is no surprise to me

 

as a matter of fact,

i told you you'd be going..

that it was only in a matter of time

 

you may have been trying fooling yourself...

but you certainly weren't fooling me

i know your style

you love easy, quick, on the go

 

i do however feel sympathy for you

your heart is just dying to be needed

so you go,

you chase after whatever it is that you need

 

because honestly...truthfully

i need you to go..

 

i don't have to pretend

my heart isn't free

and of it, i am very aware.

 

my heart is still loosely tied to grief

and if you can't understand that;

that is so very unfortunate..

 

because you see,

the heart needs time to heal,

and when you are consciously aware-

 mind body soul,

your heart will take it's time to heal

and there is nothing you,

 or anybody else, can do about it..

 

there is no "over-ride button,"

no manager to call to

manage hearts healing process.

it's a script that cannot be rehearsed

grief and healing,

are natural.

so yes, go, i don't need any chances

i don't want your chances

i am taking my chances knowing

that i am not abandoning myself

trying to conform to the person you want me to be 

 

so, you go, and play "in love with the idea of being in love"

 i will still be taking my time to heal,

genuinely caring for what my heart needs..

This is a word right here! Sadly to say many people will stay in misery before they muster the strength to walk out of a emotionally, non-profitable relationship. This is inspiration for many because it truly does take TIME to heal..There really is no "over-ride" button that can eliminate the healing process. Thanks for the inspiration! Peace and Blessings! ~JR
