quiet your mind

mind the quiet

of your mind

 

your burdens

are thickening
and your mind is cloudy
only because you are:
"trying" too hard

 

you will soon comprehend
that you are fighting
a fight that can not be championed alone;

so unleash your tightened grip
slowly let your hands fall open
so that the miracles can be handed to you

 

be still.
still your mind
mind the stillness
of your soul

Bravo, I like this piece. I could be wrong but this seemed to be very spiritual. It spoke to me. Many times I am so busy all over the place that I forget to be still and to be quiet. Each day we are so consumed in our own lives and burdens of the day we forget to give over to God and have faith. Thanks for the reminder. Continue to express yourself.

okay one, this is amazing. i love it. the repetition in the beginning and end, where you rearranged and replaced some of the words was incredible. especially because you made it make sense. i hate when people throw stuff together and it ends up making no sense at all. good job!
