Just pondering as poetry calls.. and society calls today......Journaling

-WHAT-

 

what is IT that we are waiting on..

are we looking..

...do we have IT already

are we blind to IT..

 

-what is it that we think is coming that will change us-

 

are we waiting on love..

are we finding ourselves

are we that lost

do you know where you are

upon awakening- what is it that we wish to see...

a pot of gold

a beautiful woman..

hmm, both would be nice

 

so even if, my heterosexual eyes...

would you want a hunk of a man laying next you, a cowboy, a city boy..

should he be rich, should he be tall.....

you may say...

hmm, both would be nice

 

so, all eyes; besides money, good looks

 

what in the hell do we want, need, desire......

 

do you often wonder these things..

i do..

often times i believe i know...

i crave..

 

i crave:

deep positive energy

deep thinkers with whom to wrestle

plenty of ink;virtual or wet

all the paper i can stock or huge gigantic memory cards

 

an intimate relationship with my Father-H.e. in all Creativeness, not that earthly guy

i haven't a clue about him..lower case h.i.m.

 

i don't want all the money in the world-

i want nice things

plenty paper,ink,

rent due-paid,

light bill due-paid,

internet DSL-paid [gotta have virtual ink/paper, lots of friends reside there as well]

my 4 legged babies-fed,doctored,plenty toys..

bus fair-paid by the month

savings-not empty....

food-plenty

those things are necessary..

now i have dreams, don't mistake my subliminal boring

 

to have a dream car-yes

to own a house-sure

to have an art gallery-why hell yes

to have my books out in the world-more than lots of other things;thats not so subliminal that is coming.....

to have more than just enough money-um, yeah

 

but,

WHAT

do

i

really

want........

is that not enough

must we be insatiable

or have i mistaken insatiable as 'the norm'

hmmm, let's take a moment to ponder...........

wow. a poem to just ponder around itself. this was really good. so much deep thought in this. it made me think about what i really want, and if i even have IT lol. this was a good write
