how bittersweet
the love that puts you together can take you apart
one second your soul feels nourished
starving the next

crawling into bed to sleep next to someone who makes you feel like everything & nothing in the same breath
dichotomy
black & white
nothing in between
you try to grasp at grey you only see in your dreams
but they are merely illusions

you tell yourself that they exist to ease the pain
to ease the pain of remaining

why then, are you crying golden tears?

your eyes see no life
they are hidden away underneath the blindfold of death
your soul is grieving the passing of your dreams
grieving the loss of your loss
the love that you have convinced yourself to be true
the love your soul has searched for since the beginning of your time
the love you thought would complete you

then you wake up in the morning & put on your veil again
you'd rather be entwined than to dance alone
dance then
dance till the music stops 
or go till your feet give way

Finding self is fine IF what you find is the whole you and nothing but..
Seems your words are alluding to someone else..
What about self, is self excluded or perhaps - exclusive?
