Tear-Shaped Rain

Tear-Shaped Rain

A Poem by Kimmee Jean
"

anothe old poem in sadness

"

Tears are rain from
Our souls...
It can be joyous and
refreshing like a summer
Shower or chaotic and mourn
Like a storm, sweeping its
destruction. Without tears,
The soul would dry up like
land in a drought. With too
Much, life would be drowned
in sorrow. So, to hold some
In and let some out isn't
making you insensitive or
overemotional
Just means you know
how to cry

This is awesome! Love the part "Shower or chaotic and mourn Like a storm, sweeping its
destruction. Without tears, The soul would dry up like land in a drought." Keep up the good work! You should read some of my poems if you haven't already. I go to school with Vincint, he's cool. Thanks for joining my group.

Some good imagery here, e.g:
"The soul would dry up like
land in a drought." - although the wording of this makes its flow a little bumpy.

The capitalisation doesn't seem to indicate a new sentence or anything, nor key words - unless it does and I haven't understood?

Nice sentiment.
Overall, a decent piece.
Thanks for sharing it.

p.s.
"making you insensative" [insensitive]

This is such a powerful write..

I simply loved these lines -
"Without tears,
The soul would dry up like
land in a drought"
They are very much wounding.

But an awesome write indeed!

That's nice. Reminds me of Alecia Keys in her poetry book, "Tears for water..." she says, " I don't mind drinking my tears as water...it is what makes me, what helps fuel my writing..." good job.
