For a good friend in sorrow

How I wish
I could solve the problems

Of my beloveds,
Loves of my life who are
Damning every breath they take

Friendly banter become worry
Real laughter becomes real sobs
I Can't wave a wand,
Ending their sorrow
Nor can i kiss them, letting them
Dream again

I feel little anymore

Left with only
Overturned hurt
Venturing in someone's emotions,
Emotional seas best seen as a storm

Yet only sailing alone
One becomes two
Usually abandoned then loved

How I wish I could help.
