Who Even Are You

Who Even Are You

A Poem by B. Stearns

I’ve got these visions of you

Scraped up of clarity

Though you’re right next to me

Even a thousand miles away

For everything I’ve tried

My dreams never mine

Because they just can’t seem

To forget you, or me

Even a thousand years ago

Author's Note

B. Stearns
This piece is about childhood trauma, especially how even if it seems decades have gone by, things still affect you and there are things you just can't forget, no matter how much time has gone by, or how far away you are from the source.
