A Poem by Joshie MacCasim

she's too young to love or to be so sad

why isn't she happy why is she so mad

why doesn't she write about school or work

why does she call her boyfriend a jerk

what have we done to make her so upset

why doesn't she tell us when shes feeling like that

what in the world is going though her head

why does she always wish she was dead

why is she miserable unless he's around

why does she feel her voice doesn't make a sound

why does she worry so much

why does she have that book we can't touch

why doesn't she tell me what she writes in the book

what are her problems with the way she looks

why does she feel that she has to try

why does she always cry

she just too young of decide her own life

how does she know that she'll be a wife

she 's just too young to know how she feels

but im glad she has that book as a way to deal.
