No thanks to you

No thanks to you

A Poem by Joshie MacCasim

No thanks to you

I've become a free thinker

A non conformer

dressed in black amour

I'm ready to fight

in the face of society

my only priority is to do what makes me feel right

so what am I? an anomaly?

if so Im proud to be

and you should feel proud of me

but slowly im beginning to see that your really not

is it because I think freely?

a rebel so NO One can control me

I'm all about pleasing I so I now know

who I'm meant to be

I'm free, I thought for a while you were to

but as long as you keeping up with jones

your sure to blue and untrue

and im so not about that lifestyle

your too hostile and my happiness is my style

if you can't accept it you can leave out of my life

because life is too short to be bickering and to fight

so that armors a rain suit and it's meant for me to keep

so anyone who's against me must accept their defeat.
