Grass

Grass

A Poem by just_a_figment
"

Isn't it horrible how people never pause to admire the small pleasures in life, but only realize the true beauty when they're long gone?

"

Grass

Nobody noticed

The lush grassy field

When they seemed to have more important things to do

So nobody tended to it

And when it dried up and died from neglect

Everyone asked

"Where did all the beauty go?"

This is all so true, which makes it so sad. You could have elaborated more on the topic by using a few examples though. That would definitely have made the message stronger. Good job!
