A few words or so.

A few words or so.

A Poem by just_teague
"

I fell in love with a paper fool. And became drunk from the flow of it.

"

I think it happened before I met you,

sometime after I’d tried reading every book in the library.

From my burned out wreckage I willfully carved,

the amalgamation of everything I’d read began to fester.

I wrote a new code, the anthem, a mantra.

But I forgot about my life.

I think that’s why I met you. Your dull sense of wit is about to bring me back.

This is where we begin.

My revelations in the lavish licentiousness of words and worlds

How sensual my formality became

These strange erotic delusions

I want to be able to whisper

only two words (or so)                                                             (unreal city)

to have your thoughts curl up into my palm.

To this dance again.

I want to feel your pulse

in along my throat

when you realize

that you’ve created a monster.

When you gave me your name

did you mean to give so much power?

This is lovely. The lines "I wrote a new code, the anthem, a mantra/
But I forgot about my life." - are really powerful. Keep up the great work :)

everything you write is so highly individual, the way you take these preliminary steps towards a particular purpose. First the wrekage. Then the Sextonian selfrighteousness like an eagle let loose in a tiny
hallway. Then a way found, to be resolute again; to pull it all together:

"I want to be able to whisper
onl two words (or so)
to have your thoughts curl up into my palm.
To this dance again."

OH my!

Monsters are magic people just like fairies are.
You're amazing.

:: haha... that power is an amazing power, isn't it ? ... the wicked witch in me loves to wield it... for me, therefore, this poem is about the magic and the curse of proximity... but it's more magical than any curse can be... oh, and life is definitely not unraveling in any book... i found life when i fell in love with a lazy crook... he's awesome... :P
