1 AM Musings

i'm still thinking about you when i could not sleep

the world is quiet--

but my thoughts are a l i v e

thinking, wondering

if ten years from now--

 we'd be exchanging kisses over cups of tea

 we'd be cuddling under sheets where nobody can see us

 we'd be talking about the stars, or maybe about dreams

then you'll lose yourself in my hair, murmuring my name...

then sleep starts to claim me, and all fades away.
