Beautiful Disaster

Beautiful Disaster

A Poem by justAlanna

Beautiful disaster-

why do you toss and turn about your bed,

a million voices clashing in your head.

Everyone leaves without saying goodbye

maybe you're not good enough for them, but you're too good to cry.

Beautiful disaster-

was it you or was it them?

Why must they leave with no final words?-

If only your courage could blossom so lovely as you,

and fly above the birds.

Maybe your spirit is too little known;

or your sweet sweet heart that is too often not shown.

or maybe you're too wild, a wreckless abandoned.

your inner soul shoots loose as a cannon.

Beautiful disaster-

please just hold on.

I'd rather you not wish yourself away til' the best of you be gone.

The title drew me in and then the first lines. Then it played out like a story in my mind as I read each stanza as itself. Telling it's tale of sorrow.
"Beautiful disaster-
please just hold on.
I'd rather you not wish yourself away til' the best of you be gone."
Those lines so appeal to me and make me feel that this is a perfect ending. It's an amazing piece to start reading.
Do well to stay as good as I see this.
