I want.

I want.

A Poem by justAlanna

There is this boy that is my entire world.

He’s funny and handsome and everything that I had ever hoped to find.

He is my best friend, my lover- the light of my life.

I want to have a beautiful future with him more than anything else.

I want a two story farmhouse with him overlooking a big yard in the countryside, a house that we work together to make our own.

A house that is comfortable and where everyone we love can feel welcome.

A place where people share stories around the dinner table and laugh until they cry.

A house where we will raise our children and spawn countless memories.

I want to never lose the fun loving nature of our relationship and to flirt with each other forever.

I want him to always think that I’m beautiful even if I’m just one hot mess.

& I want to always smile and let him know that he’s the only man for me.

I want us to continue sending each other cute text messages and having inside jokes with one another.

I want us to laugh and chase each other through the house even when we’re fourty.

-And still hold hands in our fifties.

I want to be lovey dovey and embarrass our children by it-

All-the-while leaving them hoping to find a relationship like ours one day.

I want our family to always come first.

I want us to get through every hard time we ever face and come out stronger because of it-because every storm shall pass.

I want to be there to see him gracefully age.

I want a love that gets stronger with time

& I want our wedding bands and our vows to continue to mean something until we part this earth.
