Cyber Fly By's

A Poem by jusgivit

                          Cosmic Fly By's

I tend to move alot.. a mirror not yet hung
leaning against a wall. I walk past it, in my
peripheral I see, but did not recognise my
                               reflective state of mind.

If yesterday, it is hung in perfection and in a timely
light.. But today, The image I see..are shattered
granules of my youth.. hmm..state of mind

My kitty, my company..staring into the sky from
his dibbs..has lost interest..in new window hangings
Chattering now..mortal threats of revenge..The bird
conspires..and the claws lie motionless in the fabric
                               still...

lucky him fresh from the shelter.. it was felines fate
                               de'mode' so to speake
upon meeting.. persuasion was the key..
he being smarter than me.. decided to do the
nobler of two things..a new life, making me stay
                               busy..verses keeping all nine intact

My therepist.. might say.. it was I that was rescued
quirky intellegent, intelligence.. one might say
and a mental cold check for his trouble

Getting to it.. Fatefully.. the powers that be..seem to be
                               my being..
So the flushing of the "cosmic can" was only the
beginning of my aquired fallout..ohh.. and the aquired
was free..and without my concent of course

It seems Fates power is a universal enity from the
                               beginning
A cyber toilet conceived from every imaginative
or unimaginative evil? well the cat said it..

Flash fused against a universal canvas..it is timeless
and waiting for all to see.. A kaleidoscope of thought
for us imaginative mentals trying to understand that
quirky intellegence..that keeps flushing it all back down

If im looking to long..it surely is way to much
you see.. ancestry in my cosmos..has blown in
                               a intangible evolution..
"Tumble weed people.. rolling from town to town
kitty to kitty.. mirror to mirror
                               generation to generation

So I fight for righteous existance..  or imagined
" Fates child is warring with rolling weeds of infinity
Oh..and kitties don't care about your state of mind
"he has his own things to deal with..or so he says..

Hi Roy. You already know i love this. Now i will tell you why. That first stanza grabs you and draws you right in. The imagery is real and sets the scene for the feeling of "temporary". The reference to the mirror and the state of mind tell me this is going to be an introspective piece which is one of my favorites. The reference to your ancestry and the "Tumbleweed people" ties this all in quite nicely. The reader feels the familial history here. Post More!!!

Roy, This being my first poem shared with you it has touched me in ways that make me appreciate not only my brother and his obvious talents but poetry in a whole new sense again, a sense of sharing something special and universally divine in common with my only brother...as you know I have had a serrogate of sorts, but in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would be so impressed by and with the real thing, it only goes to show, we have a whole lot of catching up to do and for that I am ashamed but delighted to have found a new way to relate. have I told you lately that I am very proud of my big tumbleweed bro? I love that analogy, as that is what we are, tumbleweeds, but maybe now, we can learn to put down some real roots :)
and neither will feel so alone, regardless of our geography. I love you. :)
