she was like the rain

she was like the rain

A Poem by Juse

as the water begins to fall
is her wounded and shattered self's call
sometimes she's not herself
she cries, feels lonely
and uncertain to ask for help
yet she's like the rainbow
after an agony, trying to flee from misery
she still brings hope and joy
to those who feel empty

Nice depictions of mood swings as you describe a strong need for attention…..” sometimes she’s not herself”…. Aren’t we all like this? Yet she is able to escape her own anguish….. and “ she’ s like the rainbow “…… calm, self satisfied and her soul mimics the gentle colors of the rainbow….
Nice metaphors and images…
