In tune with freedom

In tune with freedom

A Poem by Chrystal Gallenger

Something small trickles down the stream,
over the edge of the falls, and in my dream.
I watch it float around the world's seas
winding and, doing as it may please.
The sune shimmers on its back,
with the wind trailing on its track.
A snowflake flutters, landing in its path,
while hail storms and unleashes its wrath.
Through the seasons day and night,
The possibilities will take flight.
In the moon's looming glow, For there is one thing you should know:
When you see the eagle soar.
Reach up higher, just a little more.
Touch your hand to its wing,
and listen to the melody. It will sing,
in harmony. In tune with my heart.
Its wings will flutter and part.
Breaking the song, breaking free.
Perfection in the peace that be.
I see myself trickle down the stream.
Over the edge of the falls, and in my dream
I will swim in the world's seas.
Comfortable, doing as i may please.
The sun shimmers on my back.
With the wind trailing on my track.
At peace with the world, at peace with me.
In the middle of nowhere, I am free
