Rages my Yellow Pages

Rages my Yellow Pages

A Poem by Juni Parks
"

"...and I wrote the first faint line, faint, without substance, pure nonsense,..." Pablo Neruda

"
The yellow pages of rages, of cries, and questions of 'why'
fills the pails of rain, of pain, and the tales of 'nigh'
pages and pages of shelves of sighs, cries and lies,
and whirls and squirrels, and girls and hurls,
and words of pretty, bitty, kitty, and sioux city

Bye good bye wild and evil eyes
hopes and gropes mild and lazy sighs
coats and throats child and crazy cries
Easy and sleazy hoes and rows and rakes
fill the pages of worn sages and middle ages

Enrages in rages vile and hazy skies
pairs of hairs of bile and daisy pies
years of tears of guile and crazy highs
Greedy and seedy porn and corn and forlorn
spill on pages of lively stages and hourly wages

Rages and rages on my Yellow Pages
Spills of trills of ink, of purpley pink, and baby stink
Sinful wages, Ancient ages, Rattling cages and Sports pages
Beady, needy, graffiti words, worn, torn, my Yellow Pages
