Hurry Down to Hell

Hurry Down to Hell

A Poem by Juni Parks
"

"Ain't nothin' that I'd rather do. Going Down. Party Time." ACDC

"

Hurl a flame of fire so fierce so haste
Burn away my smiles of lies so full of waste
Free me of gods, of anger and ills
Will upon my heart the coos and trills
Spill my soul in pools so clear, so pure in taste

Bore my hands and nail my feet
Deal my chest a blow the throes of deceit
Rage upon me a war of heart and soul
Find my spirit too vile, too foul and old
Scold with beauty and behold the beast in defeat

Ring the bells of ruin and falls
Open my sins to sky, to rain, to squalls
Build my house of heaven and reign
Fill with love and lock the door with chain
Shield from hate, my walls, my rooms, my halls

Grace my sleep with dreams and deeds
Seed my soul with the holy of creeds
Spare me, my being in repent
Tear from me, my shame and lament
Bleed from my soul, its love of lusts and greeds

Find me now, the newest of men
My heart, my will, a godsend
Alas, see me now at the gates of hell
Alas, see me turn to truth as I fell
A life long in lies, tis my ruin, tis my end
