Turtle Waves

Turtle Waves

A Poem by Vincent Makhathini

Turtle Waves speak to mine mind
Turn these dusty thoughts floral
Wash away all the rust and burn all these weeds suffocating me
turn what's wooden to golden
and let no one exploit thee
When you hit the land change the state of being
They say patience is key
and I say yes it is
So don't let no one disrespect you thinking you're slow
Some say your jazzy
and some blues-ish
And I say you are an allien with hard chords and soft synths
Turtle Waves wash away all my sorrows
Bring back the good old arcade vibes, the snow brows
Hit me with future Nostalgia
Purple waters. Wine
mine floral mind
