Lofty Alchemy

Lofty Alchemy

A Poem by Vincent Makhathini
"

Something about the beauty of a black lady!

"
There's sacred lofty art
More precious than gold and the Monilisa treasure
Truth be told there still remain(s) true african berries
Striving to break through barriers crafted to hinder
One from reaching the finish line
This being remains still even though the fishing line is not moving
Precious alchemy of the 21st century
So true and pure that some cannot comprehend such
staying above the quick sand, as a boat sailing through a storm
