The Wind of my Mind

This just came to me as the wind blew! Enjoy my latest writing!

The wind blew today
and.....
      I thought of you

As I sat and read
 you were there way
 in the back of my mind

My lonely heart
yearning to see your
smiling face
to know if we are happy

The wind blew
my friend
and.....
again thoughts of you
entered my mind

Sweet thoughts,
kind wishes
for you to be happy
as I am.....
knowing we share
something special

So when the wind
blows threw the trees
I hope sweet
thoughts run amok
through your mind!
