A Break in Winter

A natural occurrence which many people look forward to.

Winters broken
from the sun's
warming rays
gently touching
roots of many
plants and trees
grass becomes green
once again
as flowers sprout
then again bloom
giving people hope
a sense of renewal
as spring shows
her pretty face!
