Life is not always

sunshine and lollipops

dreams are not reality

neither are fantasies

I, we must realize

dreams are but a hope

of what we'd like

and could be, not

should be

Such as fantasies

even ever so grand

are but a mere

delight for the mind

yet, can we shut out

those who bring us

sunshine & lollipops

those who make us

smile, even for a second

I shall hold fast

to my dreams

along with my fantasies

to smile and be happy

with lollipops & sunshine!
