South of the BorderA Poem by Ice QueenJenFor my writing friend,Corey
Down south of the border
in this sweet fishing hole I go to cast my line so I bring out my best pole and bait my hook with a fresh surprise, then say " here fishy, fishy come get this prize!" No sooner have I dropped in my line I get a nibble every time pulling the line up and out I see this large fish, and say " you're mine!" As it nears dinnertime. I wear a grin on my face as I bait my hook catching fish after fish while the suns go down I know that this is my time down south of the border this fishing hole of mine! © 2010 Ice QueenJenReviews
