A Spiders Life

I wonder if I just took a leap of faith
high above this tower called home
down to the ground far below
that I could taste but one sip
from that gleaming glass of wine
to quench my thirst, after
living in this dry and dusty chimney
from lack of disuse, then
once again climb back up to
resume my sendentary life
in my dusty web called home.

sometimes home feels like a boring prison. I have felt like this before. It isn't much fun to feel so alone in the world. Great explanation and the last line is very creative in summing up the whole poem. Great job.

Very interesting perspective... we can learn a lot from all aspects of mother nature.
