Mickey's Surprise Party

Mickey plans a party for Pluto with the help of Bat Girl and Shaggy!

               The elevator opened and the three walked in. Mickey pushed the button for the eleventh floor, then looked at the other two and smiled. As they rode up, Bat Girl looked over and asked “ Okay boys, what's so important we have to meet in this stinky moving box?”

       Shaggy laughed and replied “ I thing its called an elevator, Bat Girl!”

      “ Whatever �" it really smells horrible in here” she retorted.

        “ Oh my, it's party time you two. I want you to help me make this the best party ever. Its the anniversary of me rescuing Pluto from the Puppy Mill. Who knows what would have happened to him if I hadn't stopped by and saw how cute he was!” Mickey heartily replied.

         “ Ah a secret mission, eh Mickey! Let's hope we can pull this off without those meddling kids...... oh wait I'm one of those kids” Shaggy said while laughing.

       “ Oh ho, ho, that's why I want you to tell them Shaggy. Just don't tell Scooby, you know how he can't keep a secret from his best bud, Pluto!” Mickey laughingly said.

      Bat Girl stood pondering why she was involved since she wasn't to fond of dogs.

           She finally asked “What can I do” The only dog I know is Underdog. I suppose I could find him to invite for you.”

            Mickey replied happily “ Good, good invite all the superheroes. Before you ask- there will be plenty of Scooby snacks, also I have plenty of other kinds of food for us. Even bat shaped licorice for you, and the other Bat people. Minnie & Daisy are taking care of that part of the festivities. I want this to be a huge day for Pluto!”

        Bat Girl clapped her hands together then replied “ Oh, I do love a great party!”

          They arrived at the 11^th floor, and as the doors opened, Mickey stated “ Come see where I plan to have the event. There should be plenty of room for everyone. I'm having a dog run installed so the dogs can have a place to play.

Shaggy replied gleefully “ Let's get this party started!”

Bat Girl excitedly said “ yeah lets.”

Author's Note

Whether Walt Disney would like this story is unknown. Yet we should do all we can to save the animals in Puppy mills that are being abused.

Using satire and cartoon characters to drive home a point...awesome and effective I think. Very fun read here J.....you crack me up, and get me thinking at the same time.
