Seasons come,seasons go

What life with seasons bring!

The winters chill

is now afront

we don the parka's,

gloves & muffs

building fire's

to warm our souls

just..... when you've

about had enough

a warming trend doth come

the air shows a sign

of better days

when flowers begin

to sprout

But,

just as things are

in full swing

the temps begin to soar

stifling heat brings life

to an abrupt halt

brought on by miserable

sweaty summer days

Yet, hope is around

the corner from you

a feeling of coolness

calming your spirits

of anger from the heat

caressing you into

a feeling of happiness

As you get comfortable

in what seems to

be a nice cool time

Wham! It comes

back with a vengeance

the front tis back

drastically changing

not just one day

but months, and months

starting the cycle again

as seasons come,

and seasons go

Brought a smile to my face :) I love spring, fall, winter...can't really stand summer. I'm not a fan of the heat :) I love the topic as well. It's not the typical subject here on writer's cafe so it's nice to read writing that's different. I love your imagery as well. Great piece :)

Well implied and inferred, Jen! The changing of the seasons do disturb me, at times, but I love them. There's just so much to appreciate about the ability to watch the seasons change. Good job!
