Our Feelings

I feel you like me, and

I too like you

Yet what we want

isn't always right

some days I wish

to give in to

these urges I feel

that shouldn't be

Yet in the dark

of the night

my sordid thoughts

are all about you

Feelings of you

caressing my body

holding me close

while we release

the internal fire

This heat we both feel

as our processes converge

explosions within explosions

our thoughts become blurred

But what we want

isn't always right

or fair " so we

keep our feelings

in our minds

This is a beautiful write with sensuality in it but the overall tone of this piece is a bit sad and has a hint of longing to it. I know these feelings all too well. Felt them for the last three years and still can't move on and shake that love that has entwined itself so deeply inside me that it has become a part of who I am.
