Desert RoseA Poem by Ice QueenJenpoem about the desertDesert Rose
As I start walking I'm parched & dry It tis so hot..... as the sun bears down on my weary soul
Yet, beauty can and will be found in this vast wasteland of seeming death but it holds life that creeps and crawls as darkness falls
Soon the creatures scurry here and there gathering their meals to fill there bellies that must be hungry like mine was my that snake sure tasted good roasting on a stick above the fire
Then I climb up on a rock to keep safe for the night til' the mornin' rises again then I see it..... what I came out to view so endlessly searching for “The Desert Rose” © 2010 Ice QueenJen |
