Why?

There are times when we need to ask "Why?"

Why?

If God gave us the world,

why do we have borders?

Keeping people out of places,

can't we all get along?

At one time we had

come across to this land

looking for a better place

one where we were accepted

But is it a better place

we've tried and failed

time and time again

each President full of hope....

“Hope” - what is that really?

It's spoken throughout

the masses of people

Hope, for what �" a better way of life?

Aren't we all mere humans

the same flesh & blood

flows in our veins, even

though we are different colors

Such things are perplexing

to not only me, but God too

for aren't we made in his image

so ask yourselves “ Why?”

Why the need for borders?

If we are all only human

Why all the fussing & feuding

can't we all just get along?

i'm sorry but i did not like this....the subject matter is pretty self explanatory
and the answer is also....we choose to hate for either good reason or bad....however, it is our choice and blood gets spilled....
as far as anything being "perplexing to God" i have to highly disagree on this too....

People are scared to ask why, that's why the vast majority choose not to ask. This is perhaps one of my favorite poems i have seen on here.
