Fathers Day Tribute!

You slave all day

and toil at night

providing for your wife

with all your might

All you want

is some gratitude

to share a laugh, not

to be another dude

A notch on someone

else's belt, nor

find out she's

using you.....

Then one day

your life is changed

for inside your wife

a life has been made

The day has come

never to be the same

you hold in your arms

this precious one

A tiny bundle of joy

with pride you say,

“ This wee little person,

is just like me!”

With beaming eyes

and a smile so big

forgetting the pain,

regrets, and digs

All you think about

is how on earth

this perfection was made

making this your special day!
