My Heart Sings....

My heart sings

am I in love?

I'm happy and I smile

Is it because of you?

Each time we talk

It's like the first

and each moment

of our days

To be apart is sheer

agonizing pain, life

would be unbearable

if we were to part

If it must be that

we share our lives

as true friends

then so be it!

So even though, I love....

my heart sings

and it's all

because of you!
