good friends!

There's a time & place

for every event

some time's can be sad

places can make you mad!

Then, there are the days

when things seem right

nothing can take away

your happiness tonight

Like when you see

A pure white dove

or look into the eyes

“..of the one you love !

Or when you

happen to find

really good friends

who are always there

through thick & thin!

Never minding at all

about how you look

are always treating & caring

like you're a 'good book'!

Having good friends

are far and few

and in between,

they can at 'times'

make you feel keen!

So cherish those who...

will care to bare

their times & places

whether happy or sad

for in the end-

they'll always be there !

I miss the day when all the neighbors would sit together and have great talks and watched the kids play. In my time in the Army. We would gather many families. Just sit together and enjoy the safety of good friends. Here in the real world. Too busy to know the person who live next door. You are correct. We have few good friends. We need to be thankful for them. A excellent poem.
