Another word play

This isn't actually a story..... but a helper for a writer making a story. We all know if you don't chose the right word, it can either mess up what you intend to say or really make the reader stop!

bored �" board - I am bored with my board!

cent �" scent �" My cent has no scent!

die �" dye �" Could I die before I dye my hair?

don- dawn �" The Don woke before dawn?

Fare -fair - The fair came to town, but I didn't have the proper fare to get in!

Flee-flea �" When the dog got a bath the flea did flee!

Flew-flu �" My friends flew out of my room when they heard I had the flu.

Grate-great It began to grate on my nerves, but great when he left.

herd �" heard The herd of cattle heard the coyote howling.

haute �" hot The Haute Chef was very hot!

In-inn I slowly went in the side door of the Inn.

no �" know I know my mother said no!

naught �" not- knot I know naught how the knot got there, I do not!

Or-oar Shall I use the oar, or shall you?

Right-write Which is the right word to write down?

Sea-see I went to the top to see the sea.

Seen-scene It's the best scene I have ever seen.

site- sight I lost sight of the site.

So-sew So do you think you can sew this up for me?

Through -threw He threw the ball and it went through the hole.

Tier -tear I chose the top tier, to shed a tear.

To-too-two He to became two, and I went along too.

We-wee We, are the wee folk of the village.

ware �" wear- where Where I wear my coat is filled with my ware's.

Wine-whine I need a glass of wine while I whine!

Okay so as you can tell I am or was bored, and this is what I came up with. I am sure you can come up with ones I didn't, enjoy!( this is your English lesson for the week)

This reminded me of a limerick, I don't know the author: " A flea and a fly in a flue/ were imprisoned so what could they do/ let us flee said the fly/let us fly said the flea/so they flew through a flaw in the flue." I like your post, great to exercise your brain that way!
